AFM Valve Delete - Tune Out?
Hey Guys,
I'm getting set to install the Kooks midpipes to my kooks headers w/cats. I don't have NPP but I do have AFM. I disabled the AFM/DOD in hptuners so it's always in V8 mode. Haven't tried it yet but if I disconnect and remove the AFM valves will i still get a CEL or can that be tuned out also? Or is it as simple as omitting those check engine codes related to the valves? Thanks |

Just omit the check engine codes.

Not engine codes technically. The AFM codes need to be disabled in the FSCM. It takes HP Tuners and one credit to license it, then you can go in and take care of the 4 codes that will pop up when you remove the AFM valves.
