AWE Exhaust
Evening Everyone,
Anyone have any good/bad experiences with AWE Track Catback Exhaust. Been talking to them for the past couple of days and they seemed to have all the right answers. I am an old school muscle guy, so the louder the better for me! But wanted to get some thoughts from others who might have the exhaust and get your take on it. Thanks in advance, Tony |

I have AWE Touring Non resonated catback Exhaust. It is amazing! Sounds crazy! Doesn’t drone part quality is perfect !
Now going track .. it’s just basically a muffler delete... will drone! I’m not a fan of nonmufflers but to each his own! Good luck .. AWE is 10/10 |

Define "the louder the better"? Because the track system will probably just sound like a completely open exhaust.
I have the resonated touring exhaust and it is VERY loud. MUCH louder than the stock NPP and on start up, it is so loud that people a block away can hear it. I love it! LOL |

Member (2010REDSS) on here has the Track edition AWE. He posted a few videos. It's monstrous. Here's his thread on it: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=540497
I would personally go with the Touring. While usually I go with the loudest setup, the Touring AWE is very loud and sounds amazing, very aggressive. I know, the "touring" name makes it sound like a mild exhaust but it's not. First two videos are member @mlee with his Non-resonated Touring setup. Last two videos are member @2010REdSS with his Track edition setup. Last edited by Can'tHave2MuchHP; 03-26-2019 at 10:30 PM. |

Last weekend i met a guy with a zl1 1le and the awe non resonated exhaust. MAN I love the tips!. The exhaust was loud on startup. Deep and angry on idle, and revving was really loud but sounded great! I know it costs a bunch more but unless I herd it in person I wouldn't do muffler deletes after seeing how loud this was yet good sounding. Go touring. Btw he was even saying the touring non res system is too loud for track days lol to give you an idea.

I had the Corsa Extreme on my Corvette and it was okay, but could have been more aggressive sounding. I don't mind loud or drone, but again it is personal preference. Unforunately video audio really doesn't give you a real perspective of the sound level. But keep the information coming. Thanks to those who have shared their insight.

I have the touring non resonated CB and it’s rowdy.... I can’t imagine how loud the track is. Nothing but positive things to say about AWE so far. Have had it on the car for approximately 1500 miles.

Man that FedEx truck sounded wicked
Seriously though that track exhaust sounds awesome from the vids. I don’t think I would want the drone though. But it sounds killer. |
