FYI; there is a ZL-1 section with many more ideas.

S1 Sequential makes a shifter for your car. I would highly encourage anyone serious about tracking their car to consider getting it if it's a M6. Outside of that, maybe a cold air, some exhaust work and a tune would help to wake the car up.

I don't own a LT4 car, but have owned and modded a couple of SC'ed SVT vehicles.

If you want to make competitive power with say a new GT500 or Redeye Hellfat then I think a TVS 2650 based blower is the way to go like this post I quoted recommends. Or a Whipple or KB blower if they make them for a ZL1.

If you don't want to do a blower swap and want to stick with boltons then I say:
LT's, rear cat delete, 103MM TB, CAI, ported blower, 2.3" pulley, and a good tune will likely give you some good gains without having to take off the valve covers.

car already has a X pipe. if you do a short shifter you can do the anti venom mod https://www.ebay.com/itm/Trans-deten...53.m1438.l2649 and do a softer reverse spring to make it feel more like the stock shifter https://www.ebay.com/itm/Soft-Revers...53.m1438.l2649 for a CAI go with the Roto fab big gulp. https://www.roto-fab.com/2017-20-cam...-woiled-filter remove the seondary cats. your not going to gain anything with the exhaust unless you do long tune headers so no use replacing the original x pipe.

Full 1LE suspension, with BMR adjustable sway bars and links, GM aluminum cradle bushings, Hurst shifter with lighter reverse spring, TWM shifter knob, Tick level 1 transmission. I should have bought a ZL1
