I really wish I was shopping for a C7 right now. Instead just trying to pay off my house which is not nearly as exciting.

this is just a specific dealer deal - not a chevy sponsored discount. Which means the dealers are eating it big time on these. I am actually surprised chevy isn't doing a 20% off rebate - but I see nothing like that on the website.

Matt Saxe in MN is posting 23.8% off Vettes for all but will do 25% off if you ask.

What many don't know is Dealers are paid by Chev in non-transparent ways so they can stay one step ahead of us.

Dealers are too tight to lose a nickel.

Where did you find 25% off? The dealer in my area have it at most, 13%.

Agree - seems way too coordinated. I don't think there is enough inventory to advertise it at the corporate level, but GM must be making these dealers whole to move the product out before the end of the year. Once you are sitting in January it's going to get more and more difficult to sell a 2019 Corvette.

I'm still tempted by the one local to me - $47K for a 2LT manual w/ NPP - that's a $67K sticker car - perfect spec. I would prefer Z51 but it's not a deal breaker.

I text the dealer yesterday about the 25% off. That white 1LT can be had for $39.5k plus TTL. Would get an extra $1500 if have GM lease in home. Must finance through GM financial and he said rates around 5% but can pay off early with no penalty.

Seems like a steal to me. C8 is going to be insane but $20k is a big difference for the 2 cars IMO

ya that seems like a total steal to me as well - I was looking at used C7's and you have to go back to a 2015-2016 to get under $40 for the most part.

If there's no manuals left there's no point imo... might as well wait it out for the better day auto.

There are several manuals at the dealer I was looking at - only would do manual - 100%

The one I like is ceramic white 2LT with NPP for $47K - $20K off sticker.

Chev should do what they did with the Vette "pull the $2,000 rebate for Mustang owner" (Vette had 2k owner loyalty) and move it for everyone.

Another buffoon move on Chev's part; they sold their 2019 Corporate Camaro 2SS Convertibles to dealers in my area and now these are 36k with 2-9,000 miles on them. Who would pay 45k for a new one when they can get a Corporate car with a few miles for 10k less..stupid.

You're a marketing genius! You should work for GM.
Try comparing apples to apples. The 2 vehicles have nothing in common regarding the reason for rebates.

I know what you mean, man. My local supermarket is offering 20% off toilet paper this week but Home Depot wants $299 for a dehumidifier..stupid.

Actually, plenty in common; both Vette and Camaro have done 25% off the past two years like clockwork. Who owns both brands, Chev. Why did Chev choose to sell one at 25% off and one not? I don't know.
It's not to dump the C-7 (the C-8 is sold out) so they might as well sell both.
Another commonality, go the Chev website; both are in a category labeled Performance.
More commonality, V-8, rear drive, 6.2 liters etc........
