2LT but I can shift into Sport?
I've been reading through these forums, and the manual, and everything seems to say that a 2LT doesn't have sport mode and according to the owner's manual, I will never see an "S" on the screen. Shifting to M should activate ERS and just display M and the current or Maximum Gear#.
However, if I shift to M, the HUD shows "S" which is not possible per my manual. So am I misreading something, or is this just a pretend Sport mode? If it is a pretend sport mode, why does it exist?

I have a 15 rs auto i can go back and forth between the M & S using the paddles. Put it in the m position and it should be in S mode, the car will shift for you, but hold the gear longer depending on how much you get on it. It will hold 2nd all the way to redline in wot. If you want to go into m mode just pull the paddles and now you shift the car. If you want to go back to S mode and let car shift pull the upshift paddle and hold it in and you should go back to s or sport. Im not sure if that's what you want to know or not hope it helps ya

Pull down to M with the gear selector, and you should get in sport mode. Do you have the LT or the LS? Select M, hold the right shift paddle for 2-3 seconds and the M should change to S.

"The 1LS and all LT Camaros (auto or manual) come with a 3.27:1 axle ratio. The 2LS, however, has a 2.92:1 ratio." All the info you need regarding this can be found here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=307690
