Low tire pressure...car wont go into competetive mode or turn of stabilitrak

Had a nail in my stock rear tire. Repaired it. then switched to my drag pack to go to the track soon.
Never put more air in the original tire and the last thing the sensor seen was 6 psi.

Car feels down on power (but it is 90 out) shifts not as firm, and I also discovered it will not go into competitive mode and it will also not allow me to turn everything off by holding the button.

Im guessing this is related to the tire pressure warning?

It should go off as soon as the car realizes the air pressure monitors are gone and ill just have that warning? I just drove 15 miles to work and it still didn't tell me the monitors are not working...still just have the low pressure warning.

maybe I should disconnect the battery and clear it? I cant recall how long it takes for the car to realize the sensors are gone...

just kinda weird...looking for some input...

When I put my Dragpack on it takes about 10 to 30 miles before the monitors need reset (have em in dragpack too)I guess it depends on the damn computers mood. Mine also wouldnt go into competitive mode one time at the track after airing the tires down but the traction control did go off and the power wasnt affected.

IIRC it takes 20 miles. It needs to see all four sensors missing before it will let you use competitive mode or disable stabilitrac.

Yep. Not long after I left work. Warning light flashed told me system wasn't working. Can now turn everything off. Power is good. Everything is cool

Thanks for the input everyone

Just waiting for something to happen since my Silverado threw a rod 2 yeas ago. Was on my way home and got on it. Felt weaker than normal. Check engine light started flashing. Rod bearing. Thankfully it was covered under warranty. Even with headers and cai

YUP!! That's why if I swap tires at the track and this issue come up, I just pull Fuses (F1 and F22). Disables everything, but also disables power steering. LOL.

The monitors fit in the skinnies up front? Thats good to know I have the TPMS tool it was 80 bucks but I can do a tire relearn inside 60 secs.

No, it's not that it is resetting, it's that it is discovering that the sensors are gone. You need it to see all four sensors, or zero sensors. Anything in between is a fault.

If you drive 20 miles with only front TPMS sensors present then you'll still have a fault because you are missing two sensors.

Then how can someone drag race using a separate set of rear wheels?
Do I have to put TPMS sensors in the wheels and then relearn them with the EL-50448 tool?

And can you have 2 sets of rear sensors in separate sets of wheels both stay "learned" or do you have to relearn each time you swap back and forth?
