Rebuilding my supercharger quick question
I was shot down by 2 dealers now to have the replace my supercharger, oh well Ill be fixing it myself and porting it while I have it off.
What grease is used to repack the bearings for the supercharger rotors? Also to you guys running 100+ MM Throttle bodies how do you like them? Any down sides? I might order a NW 102 along with a cam and a new lower pulley

Well Hell,
So Last year, not by Choice, I rebuilt my new factory replaced supercharger. I too had the same questions but I received no real answers from anyone. I read a little and decided on Molybdenum Disulfide. Honda Moly 60 paste to be exact. It's used on Spline Drive Motorcycles. High heat, High Pressure, and moisture resistant. So I ported my blower and packed with Moly. Hasn't gone boom Yet. But, I am only speaking for myself. Read up a little and make your decision. Note: There is also Krytox. I didn't see that then and I probably will use it next time I take my blower apart. |
