Thanks for the information.

I see what you mean with the magnets for the front piece. If the Kydex/plastic sheet I’m thinking of using is rigid enough to span the length/width of the trunk, I can heat-bend a near 90-degree lip in the front. Have it bent upwards, then glue the magnets to that.

Going to order a bunch of those hooks. I just remembered I also have a bunch of PVC pipe in my scrap set. Might play with that for the rear mount.

Just got back from a couple week’s vacation. This week is busy, but hopefully next week I’ll get to really dig into this.
