First of all my apologies for resurrecting and highjacking this thread, but I need some help on the following and I think I might be able to find it here.

I decided to use one of those band expanders/frequency shifters on my newly acquired ZL1 which was imported from the US, as most of the FM radio stations in the UK are on even decimal frequencies (.2, .4, .6, .8, .0). This frequency shifter plugs-in line between the aerial and the radio module and needs power. The radio module seems to be behind the glove box, as discribed above.

Does anyone know where I can find a switched power source in that area?
