Congrats Chevy

2019 ZR1....Road and Track Performance car of the year!
The main complaints were the hood bulge, 8 speed auto, and cheap interior!

LT5

Has there been any talk of Chevy installing the LT5 engine in a ZL1? I would like to see that happen.

For what we get in our ZL1, they are a bargain compared to the price of a ZR1.

Almost every one of their performance results suck for what it’s capable of. Especially braking distance and 1/4 mile.

I read the article - one thing mentioned more than anything else is rain. R&T didn't allude to when/how they got their performance measurements, but I would be curious if all the cars didn't show some lower numbers due to the damp conditions.

A10 does not fit in the C7 platform. Corvettes are stuck with A8 until the next generation.

Lower profile rear tires?

So is that a misprint? Why does the ZR1 have lower profile rear tires as opposed to the front tires? 30 series front and 25 series rear? That correct?

And furthermore considering the complaints about how hard the car was to handle exiting corners and applying power when they tested it against the Porsche GT2R in a head to head.

Think about this for a minute, Half the $, 105 hp less, and a ZL1 1le just a few grand more is just as rare to own.
