Clutch problems

So I have a 2016 ss, this morning all of the sudden my clutch pedal felt like is not stiff anymore like it used to. I can’t even take my foot off clutch because it would shut off, and I can’t even shift to first or any gear at all. I have 23,360 miles on it, so any guesses if I’ll end up paying for something if I wore my clutch which I don’t think I did as it just broke in a matter of 1 hour. I also have Chevrolet protection plan and geico mechanical breakdown and still under gm warranty. So I don’t know if any of those will save me from spend cash if not any guesses as how much will my dealer charged me? Has anyone have any problems with clutch yet?

Any mods? That's about the only thing that can give you grief. If not, you should be covered under the bumper to bumper.

I don’t have any single mod done to it. Not even a spoiler lol. They told me it is the clutch is not cover because it fells on wear category.

Were there any symptoms of a clutch issue before this morning? Did the dealer actually look at the car? This is not sounding like a simple worn out clutch.

take it to a dealer. It should be covered under warranty, unless you've been smoking that clutch. Just be sure you didnt do what this guy did.

Did you check the clutch fluid level in the reservoir? Could be leaking.

I’m a heavy foot I’ll be honest, I bought a v8 to enjoy it so I drive it hard but that doesn’t mean I have wear my clutch as it only has around 23k miles on it. Will see what my dealer told me. It seems I’m the only one with that problem

If it's worn that's on you, if something broke then should be covered, imho.

Turned out the master cylinder that pushes the hydraulic failed so I’m covered. Thanks God I won’t be paying anything.
