Just looked it up. The 8L90 is listed at 99kg with the TCM and the longitudinal TR6060 is listed at 66.3kg.

The A8 is like 6 pounds lighter than last gens 6 speed auto.. Never seen anyone say it's lighter than the manual.

There's no way the A8 is that much heavier than the manual.

The 4l80e is around 100 lbs heavier than the T56 so if 73 lbs doesn't seem so bad.
