I don't do Any face stuff with pics or writing. Something must have happened for him to just stop posting here.

1981. I bought her new in November of 1980 (I tend to hold onto things for a long time). She is presently somewhat the worse for wear but I have a huge stack of parts and big plans for restoration.

Jan .....do you have any plans for your up coming retirement ?
Had my retirement party today. It was very nice. I still work through the end of the month but just tasks involved on shutting down after 30 years. We have tickets for a variety of concerts through the whole of next year, I plan to do more art & crafts projects, car stuff, and the interior of the house gets redone. In between I plan to do a whole lot of nothing.

Yeah, I see Rick's posts on Facebook to. Not sure why not in here. Except that the whole forum has slowed down to the point of being boring.

Congrats on your impending retirement!!! I have until December 2020 and sometimes I wonder if I can make it that long!!! I have been at the same place for 21 years and in the last three, they have changed for the worse........the entire Corporate atmosphere. Once upon a time, they cared about people. Now, the workers are just numbers and the bosses on top (newly hired a couple of years ago) just want 'yes' men. It sucks. We are lucky in our department because our leaders are good people......but you never know when that may change.

Take care!!

Just make sure when you decide to retire that you have every thing in order. Money coming in and going out plus your medical coverage. Last year I got big surprise from the Teamsters That they were going broke. And when it was all finalised I lost $1,130 a month out of my pension.

I think most work places have changed for the worse in the last few years. I been saying it is a good time to retire & get the heck out of Dodge. Sorry your pension got messed up Spike. I was not lucky enough to work in a field where there are pensions but I saved in a 401K type thing & they matched so I will be alright. I forgot to post up a few pics from my party. I had a really cool cake & got some nice gifts.

Very cool Jan. Nice pics. Looks like you work with some nice folks. I am lucky enough to have a pension, hopefully it will remain intact.......any signals that it isn't and I will get out early because that and SS is mostly what we have. Some in my 401K but had to tap into it.

Whatever we have, we will make the best of it!! Luckily I have a low maintenance wife that says she'd live in a thatched hut if necessary! LOL As long as it's in a warm climate, that is.

I wonder how long before all those old American cars in Cuba make their way to the US?

Went out and got some pictures today, here's a distance one of her car.
