PackersFan,

We can send you a custom colored Roto-fab logo for your CAI! What color scheme are you going with on your car?

Thanks for the interest!

If it is done correctly, both of our air inlet tubes will accept paint.

Roto-Fab

I finally installed mine. My impression thus far is that transient response is much better over factory. My butt dyno needs recalibration so I can't say if any add'l power is being made, but if just the transient response is the only improvement, then I happy. I have no tune, so .....

Install was easy, on par with my SS, but slightly easier. One suggestion to Roto-fab would be to include a little packet of silicone to aid in pushing the box into the factory rubbers.

I insulated the outside of the box and the bottom of the air tube that sees the radiator. I found on my SS that it helps to keep the box cooler for a longer period of time and allows for a quicker recovery once the air is moving again. I used a scanner to read the temps and a temp gun for checking ambient.

I would have preferred a sealed unit like my SS but I don't think you would be able to get the same size air filter in it. And yes, I found a critter had been living under the hood, actions have been taken to remedy the situation before they eat my wires.

Glen,

Thank you for returning to Roto-fab for your Camaro CAI. And thanks also for sharing your photos! Just a minor detail: it appears as though your hood seal may not be fully seated in the corner, just to the left of your GM Performance badge. It might help to push it down by hand to assure it is fully seated.

Thanks again! And have a great night.

Had a mouse or other small critter climb on top of the transmission of my Silverado and chew up the wiring harness. What a PITA that was.

Here is a nice look at our CAI for supercharged applications! Fitment has been confirmed on Heartbeat, E-force, SLP, and LT4 superchargers. Big thanks to Phastek Performance for the photo!
