9” might be a little to big ..

Here’s link to one of them but you may want to look at rolled one ..

Flowmaster uses "V" shaped deflector plates inside of their mufflers in "chambers" in order to quell down the noise, I bet when the NPP closes it is forcing all of the exhaust gas out the other outlet along with the noise. That could cause some pressure issues down the road which could leave to the internal V plates breaking. They are only spot welded into place and it isn't uncommon for the welds on them to break over time.
Can anyone confirm if this is an actual issue? maybe not with the mufflers but even with the car itself if it restricts the flow enough to have back pressure issues?

Well if the valves open when they need to the pressure shouldn't be built up to something that high of a breaking point. The super 10s are pretty free flowing based on the design so I wouldn't be too worried. Constant use of stealth mode could be a different story but I still have my doubts.

Considering the 'crimp' in the stock system. IMO Back-pressure is not an issue if we're just talking axlebacks. A google didn't show anything news of the welds breaking off either.

Considering I drive my vehicle for work sometimes (vehicle inspections), I try to be quiet when driving through neighborhoods and meeting with people. I do however love the sound of exhaust and the hot rod guys that I deal with don't mind the noise.

I was curious if anyone has run a setup like this, but with the muffler as a single exit and the j pipe as the switched tip? Does this work without any drone? What is the best option for 3" high flow cats? My wife hates the smell of my Firehawk non-catted exhaust, hahaha Thanks for your input

Can I use the original NPP and AFM valves in a custom setup if I change the pipe diameter of the entire exhaust?
