Hiding coil packs

Has anyone here hidden their coils, like under the frame or wheel wells? Michigan Motor Sports sells a kit for doing this, complete with all the extensions needed. I know people are doing this but, no info anywhere.

I know Katech has a kit. For me, i would not do the under car kit from Michmotorsports. Be my luck i run over something on road and it yanks a wire loose, plus i would think the longer run would increase resistance, yet some do it as you have mentioned.

I wouldn’t put the coils under the frame or wheel wells either because of dirt or hitting something in the road and damaging the wires or coil packs as IneedAZ replied. I’m sure it would be fine for track use but not sure for a street car though. Good luck Smokin19!

If I did locate them in the wheel wells, it would be behind the inner liner and most likely put a vapor barrier over them. Would help, if someone had a pic of the wheel and liner removed.

I like how they hide all that stuff on the car shows (like bitchin' rides, etc...) but they never seem to show you how or where they hide everything.

I put mine behind the fenders and had Scott's plug wires make me a custom set of wires. Worked out really well. The only thing that was time consuming was extending all the wires to them. I bought bulk wire with the same colors as factory to simplify it.

Just to clarify, you installed them on the fender, in the wheel well side. Wouldn't have a pic would you?

Contact Vengeance Racing, they mount them on the firewall. They might sell a coil relocation kit.
