From reputable GM sources... "google Mercury DOHC LS". Its been hiding in plain sight for 2 years. Apparently that is the ZR1 and Camaro Z28 motor. Think about it, the ZL1-1LE @ $70k makes room for a Z28 @ $80-90k

A few things I noticed on the dash:
-The rev match was off(?) -I didn't see the traction and stability control lights! -Tire temps were at around 33-34 psi

Bill Wise was the driver this time. He is not a GM Engineer as far as I know, but he does run with BnR Racing.
