When an order is placed and you put a deposit down, how long after does it take to get a copy of the orderWorkbench to get the six digit alphanumeric Order Number? Thanks.

The order number is generated when the order is created in Workbench.
- It is immediately published.

Did you get your order workbench yet? And have you tracked it to see where your at right now?

Oh nice, when was your order placed? Im getting kind of worried about my dealer. I went on 3/7 (which should have been the day he ordered) and he told me my order was put in a few days before. Today I saw it was still 1100.

I messaged them today asking if an allocation was available and got a reply in just a few minutes saying its still 1100 and I would be notified when it changed. I replied asking again about the allocation for it and just have not got a reply all day. Its a smaller dealership and im worried I wont be 2000 for a while.

At first I was in the same boat as you. I was told the order was place on 2/22. My understanding was it could stay at 1100 for a couple of weeks waiting for GM to accept the order. Once they do it should change to 2000, then you know you are in.
For me I was at 3000 on 2/26, 3100 on 3/1 and 3400 on 3/8.
Seems once you are at 3400 then it is a long wait for any changes.

Best you can do is keep checking with Becky every day looking for at least 2000 status. If no change in a couple of weeks. Contact Becky and buy from her.

Well my dealer has only told me the same thing since 3/7 and that was "your order is in 1100 accepted status" and they have not told me any timing on anything except 8-10 weeks until delivery. Im just a little upset now that I asked about an allocation and they ignored me. From the forums ive seen people say it takes a week or two at most (but usually 1-4 days) so if its not 2000 status by then ill be withdrawing my order.

I am pretty sure it is out of your dealers hands now. Now it is a matter of GM accepting the order. I will bet you will see 2000 this week.
Think Positive, you have your order number, and are at 1100. If the dealer could NOT give you a order number, then I would be concerned.

Well from what ive seen its up to GM to accept it, but they only accept it when the dealer has an allocation for the Camaro. And the problem ive seen with other users is dealers lying about having that and then a month later they still sit at 1100. And my dealer not replying to me asking is what worries me.
