There are many polishers that you put into your cordless drill, the one above works great, the other one is a mother's power cone. Use any good metal polish like mothers or griots once a month.

I wash the tips with a wheel brush every time I wash the car and they stay like new.

Like mentioned above, I use a foam cone with a powerful cordless 18V drill and some metal polish every couple of months of so. But I also wipe my exhaust tips after every drive and spray them with a little Echo/Reload QD mixture. I also coat them with Reload every time I sk the whole car...they are clean all the time!

When I had my vettes I bought the kit everybody was using. Came with a few different style buffing wheels, special cleaning bars that you rubbed on the wheels and when heated up using drill cleaned them. Same with the polishing bars. They recommended 5 min. using each compound but the stainless looked like bright shiny chrome when done. Hated to start the engine. Between I’d just spray on some windshield glass cleaner on paper towel and clean them up.

Wait a second, are you trolling us? Own a Camaro, but can't spell it, and you say you have the 2017 with a LS1?

There is a huge difference between a polished exhaust pipe, and a clean one. You can virtually use anything to clean exhaust pipe if you don't wait too long, that means doing it once every 2 to 4 weeks. If you wait it's going to take fine extra fine steel wool, and abrasive polish.

But Polishing an exhaust tip is something totally different, that gets you the reflection you see it from across the parking lot or at a show........ if you care for that. And for that, you're going to need a machine to do it. Cordless drill's work great in this regard, the hand cannot move at 800 RPM.

For normal everyday washing; never needed any more than soapy car wash with a sponge. If I plan to go to a car show, after dry from the wash, then I'll use Mothers metal polish with a foam cone thingy.

I use a shop towel and mother polish. No machines... just my hands... a quick rub on, and a quick rub off.

This is after maybe 3 weeks... maybe 500 miles or so.

Naturally, I cheat by running e85. Lol
