I always liked the Beretta (still do), but it was not a Camaro replacement in my mind, but yes GM did try to pass it off as one..
I wanted Beretta GTZ when they were new, but my love for the Camaro had me end up with a 91 Z28.

even some of the good engine designations got tarnished
when I think of an LT1....it's NOT the one in my 23SS or that pile that was in the bathtub caprices in 1995. Nope, the 370 horse 350. how about LS6 and LS7? Not exactly 70 Chevelle engines anymore. Thankfully, they havent taken a dump on my favorite engine yet.......Long live the L88
