I got only 28k from the Pirelli's and don't do burnnouts. Replaced with General GMAX AS-03's. No loss of traction and lasting longer than the original Pirelli's.

26k on the General's so far and the tread still looks new.

18k miles! I had to replace mine with just a little over 10k and I don't even drive hard. I put on a set of General Gmax and so far they have almost 40k and still have a good amount of life left.

I just recently bought the 555 G2's. I'm putting them on this weekend and I'll let you know how they feel.

AND how you maintain them. Keep the TP up where it is supposed to be and CROSS-ROTATE them every time you change your oil. I change oil and cross-rotate every 5K miles. My original P-Zeros currently have 38K miles on them and STILL have decent tread (but it is about time for new feet).

Im running the stock ss wheels and factory size tires for now.. i came across 2 good deals on amazon while searching for tires. They are the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 and the Nitto NT 555 G2. From you guys experience which is a better Tire all around. I dont drive in the rain so im looking for a good performance summer tire.
If you haven't gotten tires yet you may want to try Cooper tires Zeon RS3-G1. I have the 18" version my my car and they are awesome. Great in the wet and dry. Very sticky tire for an all season radial. I just took them off for the winter and they are wearing great 2yrs now, They are rated for 40 to 50k miles.

General GMAX AS05's here, like them so far and reasonably priced.

So got two new 555 G2's on today. They DEFINITELY stick better than the P-Zero's I had on before, but this could be due to the fact that I upgraded from a 275 to a 315. Either way, the traction is definitely better. Before putting these tires on, If I put it in 2nd and gunned it, the tires would spin for the first couple seconds. Now the tires don't spin and I can clearly feel a difference in acceleration. Hopefully I can bring it to the track next month to see how much time they cut off on the 60ft!
