I was launching off idle so I could flash the stock converter for all its worth. LOL. Foot braking it slows it down a tad. I had over 1/2 tank of gas. If I had less than a 1/4 tank it would have been in the 11's. These big beasts need all the help they can get in the weight department.

She is pulling some good MPH though!!!!

Yes, A cammed SS should run 11:70s-12:40s depending on tires, track prep, and driver skill. My cammed car ran a best of 12:20s before it smoked the clutch and popped axles.
