can I change between radio and media

Can I use the steering wheel controls to change between radio and media? My uconnect in my Ram will let me do this. How about Chevy mylink?

Yes, swipe your finger from right to left over the music note on the mylink screen, it will then put your DIC into media mode, and then you can use the steering wheel control arrow to the right and move between all of the different types of media.

Must be a SS or above option? Doesn't work on my RS. Guess GM wants me to look away from road while I change inputs.

It works fine in my 2LT/RS, tried it at lunch today!

Upper trim option.... RS 2LT. SS upper trim as well. I didn't have it in my 1LT until I added the Enhanced cluster and the IO6 HMI. Some wiring adjustments... and bingo.... G2G.

You were able to go from the 7" to the 8" Radio?

I had the 8" already with IO5. The MOST wiring going from the HMI to the cluster had to be modified as it bypasses the cluster and goes to the AMP. Radio to AMP to HMI.... now it's Radio to AMP to Cluster to HMI.

I took care of that when I added the HUD.

Are you stating this for the IOB option with 7" radio? Because if you are referring to the I05/IO6 package, that is not correct. It can be done without the lighting package.

Lots of other things. Cluster programming and MOST wiring. Granted... I upgraded my IO5 now to IO6 and upgraded to the enhanced cluster

Well I have the 8" screen just not the package i said, so what do I need for this to work?
