Chevrolet black rims- recommend any similar?
So I have 2021 LT1 that came with silver/gray-ish rims from Chevrolet dealership.
Chevrolet sells the black rims but they are hella expensive. Anyone recommend any that are similar in style or look? I’ve seen a few in the forum but the spokes seem “thin”. Last edited by Bear7651; 02-23-2021 at 12:55 AM. |

I had mine powder coated for about $260. Turned out great and was far cheaper than buying new wheels

the powder coating is cost wise probably going to be the #1 choice as long as you like the wheel style . The realy nice point of powder coating is you can do nearly any color . So yes you can do black , dark gray or whatever might look best on your car . You can get that done in a gloss , flat or satin and even with or without metalic .

I have a 2 sets of SS factory wheels, one coated black from factory and one I can powder coat for you if you are ever in the TN area.
**My factory coating has lasted for approx 5 years now with no real wear to the finish I can see |

Check the Facebook Camaro groups Camaro Six Buy-Sell-Trade Camaro, Camaro Wheels 4sale/4trade, 6th Generation Camaro Buy Sell Swap Parts.
There are so many OEM wheels basically being given away on there. Lots of SS wheels with tires for under $500. |

I'd make sure to find a good powder coater -- my old school tire guy has had lots of issues with coated rims that interfered with the proper mounting of tires.
