The switchback harness I have posted has got a couple of built-in resistors on the white bulb (reverse) line but it can be easily modified adding two further resistors in order to have the blinking lamp covered, too. This will totally void hyper flashing on both, reverse and blinkers!

See you!!,

You're welcome, Biscuit.fr! Expect some harness modifications to be done in order to let all the looms feed the right bulbs.. Don't worry, a standard car electrician can do it with no problem at all!

See you!!,

Rear Euro fog reverse lamp

Hi, I have the Euro rear reverse/fog lamp and fitting it to a 2SS. I am after a part number for the wiring harness that plugs into it. Or a European Camaro VIN that has that lamp standard. Any euro guys can help? (# 14 on the drawing below)

One Question, is the EU Camaro also "hurt" by the skip-shift feature (CAGS)?

My manual 2014 wasn't. I never saw that "feature" popping up.
My 2018 is an Automatic...

If you mean the Active Rev Match function.. yes, the V8 manual cars have it here in Europe, too.

See you!!,

Quick question here. In the EU version is radio using the odd and even frequencies? And if yes is this the same or different module? Asking as I try to understand if there is a way to simply re-program the US version (without using the external modules as it is being suggested). I assume that GM did not create 2 different radio units - just one but with different settings to reduce cost.

I don't know if you got your answer Jarek. I just imported a ZL1 from the US to the UK. In the US the radio uses odd decimal point frequencies. In the EU the radio uses both odd and even. And in the UK most (if not all) stations are on even decimal frequencies. I don't know if you can reprogram the the US version, but I bought a band expander/frequency shifter that I plan to install on my car soon. I bought it from another member of this forum in the UK, but you can find them on ebay - I post a couple of links below:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/US-FM-Ban....m46890.l49286

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/US-FM-Ban....m46890.l49286

Just let the sellers know what kind of car this is intended to go on and that it uses a FAKRA antenna connector.

This is the photo of the band expander that I plan to fit on my car's radio control module. It plugs-in between the antenna connection and the radio control module that is located behind the glovebox and needs power. I was told that the display will still show the 'odd' frequencies' but will tune .1 higher. To save you some brain-boiling research time, if you ever decide to go for one of those, it needs to get powered through a Retained Accessory Power (RAP) source, so that it is powered while the radio is on. You can use the purple wire that goes to the lighter under the center console (that's what I will do). It's fairly easy to remove (actually lift) the center console.

I will do the installation next week, so I will let you know how it goes. If however you find a way to reprogram the radio to show even frequences (or both odd and even) please let me know.
