$53k for a new ZL1?

Does anyone here besides me think its possible to get one of these amazing cars out the door brand new for $53,000 one day later down the line? For example if gm offers 20% off in October? Or am i crazy to think something like that?

When I was reading on here before I thought I read the ZL1 was never offered on the 20% off program, neither was the Z06 Vette. Usually the boutique vehicles don't make the list.

Why do you think this is possible? Are you clairvoyant? Why would this even be likely, other than inventory has built up and GM needs to move these undesirable vehicles? Since neither of these two scenarios is likely, it will not happen.

I hope so. I just ordered a 2018. Couldnt find a yellow one. Production of the 2018's doesnt start till mid june. The longer I have to wait, maybe the incentives will be better.

Every fall, the ZL1 & Z06 vehicles get the 20%-25% bonus tags & dealer incentives. You guys need to get on Autotrader in the fall & search the NorthEast states for these deals. The dealers don't want to store these cars all winter.

No Corvette/Camaro is immune to the 20% off deal. However you may have to travel to find one with the color and options you're looking for.

That's what Bomnin Chevrolet (Kendall) had it listed for. I'm stationed in Tampa & Miami was only a four hour drive...well worth it for me!

I searched throughout the major metro areas, Bomnin has the best prices but I didn't feel like driving 1800 miles back to Minnesota. I was able to score a deal with a small town dealer outside of Detroit for gmsupplier pricing plus $2500 in rebates. When I called Bomnin, three of the four ZL1's with a manual trans were gone, the one left was not a color I wanted. I don't think you'll see $53k on the ZL1 for a while, but it all depends on inventory numbers. If the dealers keep hanging on to these cars asking MSRP or higher, GM may float additional incentives towards them. GM manages incentives on models by watching inventory numbers and production numbers. They also watch their regional markets and if the sales are low, they may offer things like loyalty rebates, bonus tags, etc. to drive sales of any vehicle on the lot.
