Whipple ARH Longtubes Headers (catless) Meth Injection Tune by a shop that knows the GM cars & has tuned 2017 or newer Camaros. Since you already have a Roto-Fab, you don't need to buy a CAI. This setup should be good for at least 750hp to the wheels--and that's safe reliable everyday power that will run on 91/93 pump gas.

If the car is paid off...listen to the other guys.
If it's not...put the 10k to the note. |

1. The car is paid of.
2. I like the Z06, but I have a wife and little girl that loves to Cruze with me. So two sweaters are out. 3. I have heated storage for weather. 4. A whipple is $6500 in parts, once installed and tuned it would take all of the funds out of the project. 5. Not interested in going to a procharger, if I wanted to do that I would of got a 2SS. Here is what I was thinking: I have a CAI and ported TB, so maybe cam, ported heads, ported blower, pulley 15%, headers, and tune. And maybe fuel system upgrade and or meth injection. How does that sound? |

I would do what my local shop has done if i owned a ZL1 to get the best bang for the buck though. Here is the build... And they keep dialing her in. https://www.flickr.com/photos/138619...57683343056164 does miss the fact that they already had exhaust, headers, and ATI pulley..... But exhaust and headers can wait for a tad longer if you ask me. Just for sound IMO until you really start to throw some serious boost at her. Edited to add the link to the first work they did. Looks like it also included Meth. https://www.flickr.com/photos/138619...57684513435086 Here is their baseline and finals as of today I believe after everything. And yes if you add everything up 10gs would be a bit light. But if you pull up both builds and their final numbers it should give a good idea what the current PD can do. I do like the Whipple though.

The Whipple is not $6500 unless you pay full retail plus powdercoating. Selling the takeoff LT4 blower will offset some of the cost as well.
The Whipple will come with picture instructions and uses a lot of the existing parts already so its a very doable installation at home. |
