This was my first look at the lights at night and I feel comfortable with the amount of light emitted. I was kinda surprised when I walked around the car for the first time and saw how much light they gave off. They definitely aren't OEM bright but I think they are safe. This is coming from a guy who thinks 20% tint is plenty dark for a car and even thinks it's a bit dark at night. For whatever all that's worth.

I’m very torn on these. If anyone with a white 1LE picks them up, please post some pictures.

I wonder how these would look if mounted on the factory dark tail lights.......would it be too dark or just right to darken the clear areas?

Clean your lights.

Peel the preinstalled 3M tape and stick the covers to your lights.

Win.

In truth, the center light 3M tape wasn't making great contact for me but luckily I had some thin 3M tape at home that I added to the already included 3M tape and then it fit perfect. But seriously, easiest install.

The last picture is taken parked directly under a streetlight no camera flash.

All pictures are taken about a car length away. There is a full moon but with 95% cloud cover in the city.

Hope that helps.
Thanks for taking some night pictures for everyone!

I'd like to see these in bright, direct, day light up close for higher detail. Like just one light. I want to see how much of the original red gets through.

Crap weather in Nebraska right now. I might be able to get you a shot later this week if I can remember.

Daylight close up shots for thefirstcause. 3:45 pm with partly cloudy skies. Not that it's very red but even with the brake lights off, you can see the red bleed through.

Though some previous shots were in the garage and you can see the garage in this shot, the back half of the car was hanging outside and the sun was coming from behind and to the right of the car. In other words, none of the back half of the car was shaded.
