I bet the ZL1 on sport cup 2's could do about the same. My guess is the car on same tires (super sports, sport cups or DRs) well be off the Z06 by about 2-3 tenths. So I expect 10's well actually be easier then some think and bet a hero run around 10.5-10.6. What tires are stock on ZL1 now, Goodyear supercar? If those are the same as 5th gen Z then thats a bummer because they aren't nearly as good as the Michelin tires.
IIRC they are a new Goodyear tire. They're supposed to be very very good. Far superior to the old ones.

Not that I've seen. Only the base price of the model or in the 1LE case, the 1LE option for an LT or an SS.

Yup, still a bunch more waiting to do, need:

Full pricing
Nurburgring times (Al was so hyped up about these)
open order banks
Production start dates

Why yes, yes it does:

Aug 23 your dealer will see their estimated allocations?
Sept 8 Dealer Order Submission Process = Ordering begins?

thanks again!

And for some there may be a big disappointment when they learn that their dealer might not receive any allocation whatsoever. 4700 dealers nationwide and production will not likely mirror that. There were less than 3000 ZL1 sold the first year if I recall. Whatever that number was isnt important. The fact that not every dealer got one is however. I wonder how many interested folks will make a purchase? Some folks might have dropped out due to pricing. We shall see.

I wonder if they will limit it that bad. Considering there were around double those numbers in 2013. I get it's the First 6th Gen ZL1, but they know the market is pretty big since most ZL1 owners were 2012 / 2013.
