I have one. It didn't change a thing for me. My wife's ZL1 1LE acts the same with the stock TB as well.

The only time I really experience the lag is when the engine is cold. Like when I back out of the garage and start down my street after the car has sat for 24hrs or more. Once the engine is warmed up, the off idle lag disappears.

Lmfao, there won’t ever be a fix. It’s a safety feature Chevy builds into its manual transmission cars. My 19 ZR1 manual does the very same thing.

If I use enough revs and do the clutch right there is no bog

GM says it is there in all V8 manuals. My 16 SS had it. On an all out run with traction the car lays down for a split second to minimize the flash load on the drivetrain. As far as anyone knows it is not in the tune.
It could also be in the A10 ZL1s. It is very hard to get 1.6es even on radials with stock power. If your car does not have it then it is a factory freak. Take it to the drag strip and let us know your 60's with tires. It happens quickly, just enough to soften your 60'. People watching you run can see it happen.

Has anyone successfully tuned this out? I’m zero worried about being able to dump the clutch at the strip, although it would be nice. I’m more interested in being able to take off from a stop without the throttle deciding what it wants to do for me. I can’t stand that shit.

I'm in the process of doing that right now.. should have info for ya soon. Some of my issue came from switching to112mm TB but got that taken care of 100x better now. Some of it is nannies
From my tuner.. Ya just waiting on hptuners for my file back. The 19 ZL1 has lot less of that protection crap, so I am using the Os (operating system) from a 2019 in yours since the protection crap is not accessible via hp so we’ve veen trying to work around that. Only reason I needed to involve hptuners is because your vin is a 2017 of course. And it won’t let me write a 2019 into 2017 as it sees the vin/os mismatch for year. So they combine the Os for me and make it flashable. While we were waiting for hp to get us the file.. Kong contacted me about blower porting my 2650.. so waiting on it to return then I can let you know if this works..

I solved mine...
It cost me 15k but I fixed it and kept my warranty. It involved trading in my White 2018 M7 ZLE for a White 2019 A10 ZLE. I'll miss my manual, but I won't miss that damn bog! Sorry guys, I hope you get a real fix. |

If you can't fix it from the inside out, you fix it from the outside in. That is the best way...

Just to update this can be tuned out 100 percent I just did it on one after a little help from a buddy. He pointed me in the right direction and I fixed it. It will now rev to 6000 plus when in any gets clutch pushed in not stopping at 4000 rpm any more and can drive the car with zero bog issues. Next test it the track but so far on the street on the drag radials it’s working great.
