Hundreds of owners acting like they hate the refresh when it's 99% buyers remorse.

What's worse than the 6th gen refresh? Not much except for perhaps the downsìzing of the E-body platform (Eldorado/Riviera/Toronado) for 1986.
If GM thinks 6th gen sales are lackluster now, wait until this "refresh" comes out. It's going to grind sales to a halt. The 2018 Mustang refresh looks like a beautiful masterpiece compared to this thing. |

The fact that the sadly vulnerable A8 transmission will continue on in all but the V8 models..... And speaking of V8's where's that lower priced decontented entry level V8 model that we were all but promissed?

A lot of market research goes into to niche market cars like this and how they look. Their numbers must suggest that this will do well in the demographic.
It wouldn't stop me from buying one if i didn't already have a 2016. Could they make it look classier? Sure. But they aren't competing for the classy sports car market....they'd have no hope of winning that with the internal build quality of the cabin plastic pieces. They're banking on the 4 banger bringing in more sales at it's hopefully lower price point for performance. I think that will (if the camaro doesn't get totally cancelled) replace the V6 offering. So you'll get a turbo 4, then the SS, and probably some electric/hybrid offering. Though i'm not sure if they would implement that for mileage or for added performance (probably mileage). (to be clear, i'm not suggesting these guesses at engine options will be for 2019, we know those already now...but more likely for gen7). If they wanted to focus on making something for "adults" instead of the kid inside adults, they would first need to do something about all the cheap crap plastic they fill the cabins with that rattle and feel like cheap garbage. No amount of external class will convince someone who wasn't going to buy it as-is anyway to buy it once they go inside and see that crap. Doesn't bother me though, camaro's have always had cheap plastic interiors that rattle so I'm used to it. |

I've had no issues with my A8 and I'm pretty aggressive with it, however I'd ask the V6 guys who have supercharged their cars how theirs is holding up if you care. |
