1LE brake and differential 1500 mile service

I was just quoted over 350 dollars for the track ready maintenance at a local stealership in LA. Can someone please tell me a more resonable place to have this service?

Oil change to 5w-40 or 0w40 free

170 bucks for brake fluid change over proper boiling point

Differential flush

No I don't own a personal garage to do this myself.

I am doing mine now so I have been pricing this. Not sure about what a good deal is but this will give you an idea on the parts costs.

Depending on the engine oil they use that can cost between $60- $120 (10Qts), the diff fluid is $40 (2 Qts), oil Filter $8 and brake fluid ranges between ~$40-$50 (1L) for what the dealer would likely use.
Just parts for the fluid changes can be between ~$148- ~$218

One of the performance shops in northern Cal charges $150 for just the Brake fluid change and overall inspection.

the oil change is free
the break fluid service I can see the price considering the machine they described doing it
the rear fluid 170ish as well, that one is 40-50 bucks in fluid and 30-40 mins of work, thats whats killing me,

if one is free and one is 170 why is the last one 180 as well?

I bought the fluids myself for 40%-50% their dealer cost. A good bit of your costs are fluids.

If the engine takes 10qts and dealer cost of 1qt is 10.00, then you're at 100.00 just in fluids.

The brake service they do takes way more fluid if they're using the machine to do it vs a couple tech and a turkey baster. So you're hit there.

I had my diff and engine done yesterday for 83 at the dealer bringing my own fluids and filter.

We will do my brakes ourselves because I'm not blowing 5 to 6 pints of Mogul just so the machines reservoir is filled enough.

I would agree I am not sure where the $180 is coming from. Rear diff fluid is $40 and it takes like 10 mins to change once they have it up in the air for the oil change.

Dealers/most shops work on flag hours so they won't quote 10min for it even though it may only take that long.
