6th Annual Abel Chevrolet Car Show 5/17/14
We are getting close to that time of year again so I wanted to post up the info about our Annual All GM Car Show.
This year will be exciting for us because the dealership is right in the middle of a large remodel. The target completion date is set for April 10th so we should be all moved in and ready to show off the new building. The date is set for Sat May 17th from 10am - 2pm and as always, we are expecting close to 300 cars. We will have the Rotary club on site selling food that will help support local charities. Just like in previous years, there won't be any judging or trophies, just lot's of fellow Corvette lovers hanging out, bench racing and having a good time. We do ask that you take a minute to register your car so that we can get a head count for parking and food. It will also allow you to print out something to put in the window, telling everyone all the special stuff about your car. There are no fees or anything to register so sign up and tell everyone you know about it. Please go to www.abelcars.com/registration to sign up and let me know if you have any questions. Please fill out the form and then once you click submit, it may take a few seconds to bring up the next page. You will then have a link to click on and print the registration form. I am sure that as we get closer, there will be local spots to meet and cruise in together. We always like seeing those groups of 15-30 cars all coming in together. We do ask that you don't get here too early because we close the lot off the night before and block the entry points over night. Typically we do not get here before 8am so I wouldn't show up too early. Thanks to everyone for their support and we look forward to to seeing you all here. *******I was asked to add this to the post, regarding meet up spots for the show*** Meet ups on the way to Abel. ... We don't have an accurate count so if you are late you will be left behind For everyone heading north From San Jose and Fremont we will meet at the Bank of America at Sunvalley Mall Off of the Willow Pass exit. 1053 Sunvalley Blvd Concord, CA We will leave here at 8am Next stop will be at the Mcdonald's in Oakley about 8:30am. Hopefully we can get the people from the valley to meet up with us here. 914 main St. Oakley, CA Leaving here at 8:45am Then we can meet the Fairfield and Sac guys at the Mcdonald's in Rio Vista at 9:00am 300 Hwy 12 Rio Vista, CA Leave here at 9:15am and head to Abel __________________ Last edited by RichieRichZ06; 05-13-2014 at 09:46 AM. |
