Fuel Rewards/Loyalty Programs?

Hey folks. I'm just curious if anyone has an opinion on fuel rewards/loyalty programs and/or good/bad experiences to share. Other than the gas station close to my home, I've historically been a guy that just stops wherever it's convenient when needed.

I'm not looking for a debate on gas itself. I'm curious if the rewards are significant, ease of use, etc. I've found the grocery store programs to have good rewards when you spend money on groceries, but they're not always convenient when you're out on the road or away from home.

Again, just looking for opinions and experiences. Thanks.

I belong to Shell and Exxon/Mobil reward programs. The Exxon stations by me changed to Shell. I get 10 cents off every fill up at Shell plus more off from time to time. Every little bit helps.

Same here, I get T-Mobile $0.05 every week added on top of the $0.10 and on the off chance I get $0.20 total sometimes. Works at any Shell and Kroger fuel stations

Costco membership usually saves around 30 cents per gallon vs. most other stations. Never use it for the camaros, but helps with the DD.

Not much cheaper here anymore considering the fuel economy hit, unfortunately. Still worth it, but not necessarily for any significant cost savings.

I use Costco for all of my cars - they are a Top Tier supplier. No problems with my Camaro, and the savings is more for 93 octane - usually 50-60 cents/gallon.

The only 93 station I have in my immediate area is BP and it's good to go, but I do need to start taking advantage of their program though it looks like just 5 cents off per gallon.

This is how I do it for the Camaro and the wife's daily. Cost delta for us is around $.50/gal on the premium. Zero savings on 87, so I fill the truck at a station around the corner.

I just use my Citi double cash rewards card. I don't bother with rewards cards that are business specific. We have a Costco, but it's far enough away to be inconvenient. Don't stop there unless I happen to be in the area. Can't use my Citi card at Costco either. I also do not find cost savings at Costco here to be $.50/gallon cheaper. Maybe $.20 - $.30...

Must be MasterCard as their Visa is backed by Citi.

I joined Shell a while ago because most car companies rate it as a top tier fuel, but now I see I get $.15 off per gallon with premium. I'll take it!
