2025 Camaro Z28 news

I saw these today on Car and driver of a 2025 Camaro z28. I thought the z28 was canceled and not happening so is this news false? It sure would be awesome to see a z28 6th gen.

I'm of firm belief this will NEVER happen. Sure the Camaro will come back as 7th Gen...but as a Crossover or EV. There will never be a 2025 Z/28. So, in other words, GM is stopping the production of the Camaro in January of 2024...and this Car and Driver clown thinks they are going to build a 2025 Z/28!!?? Haha...no.
That said, I'd be MORE than happy to come back here to eat my gigantic bowl of crow if I'm wrong, but I absolutely do NOT see a 2025 Camaro of ANY type(gas powered) happening at all.

It's been announced that 2024 is it, so I'm not sure where they came up with a 2025 model year. They do mention that little part about pulling the plug to I guess cover them from being wrong.

Like I said in the last thread, I don't really see GM going all out and developing a Z/28 now, when the model is ending.

ZERO percent chance of happening, lol. Play the lotto right now.. your chance of winning millions is higher than this car becoming a reality.

Car & Driver just doesn’t have anything to print so photoshops, renders, and rumors are what they got

Agree Derp! There is no chance GM is even thinking about doing this!

I am confused how Car and Driver was even able to post this. It has some information that doesn't even make sense, like referring to the 2024 model production run but calling this a 2025 model. It also has some info that I can't find ANYWHERE else that they appear to have just made up out of thin air for an imaginary car they claim GM talked about, which they didn't.

How did this article get green lit? Are they okay just posting anything if it brings in clicks? I thought Car and Driver was better than that.

100% clickbait. It says right at the start of the article "if Chevy doesn't pull the plug first." The 2024 has already been announced as the final year.

It's like 80% or more of the web articles these days are nothing but click bate for advertisement income.

With clicks being the only metric for revenue, its just another way to get more traffic.
