Except now they're apparently saying 0W-40 ESP all the time for the LT1, just for added confusion.

0w-40 esp for both road and track duty.
I’m still running 5w-30.

Just did my first change. It took about 10.5 qts to get to the halfway mark on the dipstick.

Last dealer oil change I did the service dept. was out of the Ford Racing oil filters, the tech's forgot I had my own oil in my trunk and filled it with semi-synthetic. You gotta watch them or do it yourself with a "low-profile" jack and jack stands. It's a Wild World out there!

all joking aside though... we are beginning to see the fruits of our culture teaching the next that facts are subjective and the only thing that matters is how many people say/like/retweet the same thing.
Expect to see more of this, and it's our own fault. Just wait until nothing we see in video or pictures can be trusted. The next hundred years is gonna be like revisiting the slightly cleaner middle ages without something seriously changing. |
