Help me plan my mods!

Hi everybody,

Now that I’ve been driving my ZL1 for 8k miles, I have a few ideas for mods.
I would mod and keep the car if getting a C8 Z06 keeps being as annoying as it has been so far.

Please provide any opinions you’d like to share on any of these:

1. Corsa Carbon CAI: to enhance the SC whine, also looks great: https://youtu.be/uxCqmbVfD_4
2. Wheels: thinking of going down to 19” for less weight and even more comfort - any cons here you think? If trying to maintain stock power, what measurements would you recommend?
3. AWE Tuning Axle-back exhaust: being a ‘vert, there are limited catback options and I also don’t want any CEL or leaks at all.
4. Raceseng shifter: any other brands you recommend? Stock one has a weird shape, even though it feels great.
5. Wrap: just saw this and it instantly became my new favorite car color, even the paint name was hard as hell to find: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a4...ster-revealed/
6. C8 tail lights: but the installation for newer Camaros requires you to take the bumper off…bummer!

Any other quality of life mods you guys suggest? I’ve heard of throttle bodies - what’s the main benefit and how hard is it to install?

Only other thing is that my knee pads are hard as a rock lol, any mods there?

Thanks y’all!

Starting with 19” wheels, I saw that MPS4s come in at 295/30/19 and 315/30/19…

Would that work well for grip with 19s? Would it be more than stock grip you think?

If so, what wheel width to go I wonder…10.5 and 11 probably?

Just put ZLE-spec 19's on there, with 305 and 325 tires. Tons of options.

RotoFab intake for sure and maybe a Hurst shifter.

But do those fit with MRC suspension?

Depends on camber. If you want the tops to tuck in the front, you need about -2.0-ish. It's advisable to either grind/reshape the top of the strut bracket, or run 3mm or 5mm spacers.

With none of the aforementioned mods?

Wouldn’t like to modify the suspension components.

Other than that, the Hurst shifter is impressive, reducing shift travel by 40%, but it’s a difficult 4-hour install that you have to pull entire exhaust and driveshaft lol.

Wish I could compare the audio between Corsa and Rotofab intakes!

Are there any throttle body upgrade that don’t require a tune? If so, is this type of upgrade even worth it you think?
