Im curious as to why the 5th gen ZL1 doesn't have a lap time on willow springs? i saw the 1le is a number 10 pretty impressive....... wouldn't the zl1 beat it?

Do you have a link for where you're getting your information?
Times posted? I'm assuming you mean Big Willow and not one of the smaller courses...

Don't forget there are two tracks at Willow Springs....Big Willow and Streets of Willow...Two separated tracks with different track times....
Here's the web-site if you are interested... http://fastestlaps.com/tracks/willow-springs http://fastestlaps.com/tracks/willow...eets-of-willow |

Good point, but there's actually 3 real tracks. Don't forget Horse Thief Mile.

It doesn't. It was used for a drift event last weekend. I've run it for track days before. It's really a fun course. More technical than SOW. Wound't want to run a Camaro on it though.

As for which would be faster, its not as obvious at it first seems. The 1LE ran the smaller Streets of Willow course, which is a slower, tighter, more technical track than Big Willow. That plays to the 1LEs strengths not the ZL1s.

I seen a video where a professional driver took the 5th gen ZL1 to onto big willow and ran a 1:31 against a GTR's 1:25.
I couldnt find the video. SOW is really a small track, I have raced both tracks on a 600cc motorcycle, but I dont think I would want to take a car on it. There is not many places where it is possible to pass except for the front straight; meaning the point and shoot guys with fast cars will ruin your times / fun. Big willow is much more appropriate for cars.
