Some c7s are also having the issue. I think it is just a 2017 year model issue. Seen a few 2017 SS Fifty's at my dealership and about 3 C7s (2 z51s and 1 zo6) come in for it. 2014's c7s also had it sag. C7 fix is easy but for the camaro, they gotta take the windshield off. AC Delco has a glue in aerosol form (spray) that they just respray on the liner and slap it back on. My 2016 also has a bit of sag, not by much unless you touch it but I figured that was because of my hardwire kit running through the A pillar and all the from the top to the mirror.

Haven't heard of this problem, or seen it in mine. But that advice from a dealer to wait until the warranty is almost up - LOL. I don't care if they have to fix it under warranty 50 times - I'm not putting up with something for their convenience. Besides, dealerships make bread and butter money on warranty repairs.

Well I wonder if it's just a simple spray on glue that is used if it's possible to just peel back slightly the part of the headliner that is coming down, apply glue, and just reapply headliner??? The areas of the headliner that seem to be having the issue are all at the edge, not the center. So it would seem the headliner does not need to be fully removed.

TSB #17-NA-298: Headliner Sag - (Jan 16, 2019). Dealer will replace the windshield and headliner for free due to “mishandling” at the factory. Basically the line workers did not install the headliner correctly. You will need to give them this TSB to lookup to have it covered under warranty. I have a 2017 SS 1LE.

My 17 ZL-1 needs this fix. I gotta get it done before the warranty's out! I bet I'll get a @#$% rock chip in the windshield the day after they're finished...

Headliner goes in through front window opening.

Sadly I have the headliner issue too. Is the windshield replaced completely or just removed and reinstalled? I have a little crack on the windshield so it might not be worth reinstalling.

If they don’t break it cutting it out .. good glass guy can normally get it out .. but if it’s installed tight from the factory it will break.

You guys are not sticking your mail or anything in your sun visor are you? My wife puts mail in every vehicle I purchased her, her sequoia/both sides have the visors starting to separate.

If it's not too bad I would recommend leaving it alone. Had mine replaced in 2018 and the rear eventually came loose and sagged. They reattached it but it still is noticeable by me. And the front sag came back. Consensus back then was that this happened because the headliners were cut too short. When they started replacing them they were still too short. If you get it done hopefully they've made the replacements better, but knowing GM, I wouldn't count on it. And yes, they have pull the windshield, but they just reinstall it. Never a problem for me.
