Chevrolet.com email alerts

Like many others I have signed up for the email alerts regarding the ZL1 on their website. To date I haven't received one bit of information. I'd be interested to see if anyone else has. Feel free to respond to the survey and post the most useful bit of information you've received. I'm starting to think that many of their chat agents use Magic 8 Ball. Lol

I signed up for their alerts for the 6th gen, supposedly so you can be the 'first to know' when they launched. I got two emails from them containing info the website already had listed and never got anything beyond that. Worthless.

Yeah those things are worthless. You're better off just paying attention to whatever's posted here.

First to know! That's funny. Like I said Magic 8 Ball is pretty accurate too.

So far as I can tell...the email sign up is only useful for future information. So if you sign up, it won't send a "Here's the ZL1" email....because you just read it all on the site.

But when new things come out, you'll get a note.....a few days after everyone here knows about it.

Sometimes I get a generic quarterly thing, too....

Well this pretty much confirmed my suspicions. Little or no value in signing up. One would think that some type of launch info would be disseminated through their email. There's been lots of valuable info here as well as from social media and a host of automotive publications. As they say you have to be in it to win it. Not knowing whether there would be some insight it was worth a try. I find it strange that "official channels" know or should I say share anything. There's no inside scoop in life. Unfortunately there's too much speculation about ordering, availability, pricing and options way before the car is produced. At least I can say I tried. Congratulations in advance to those lucky enough or smart enough to take possession of the first cars produced. One thing for sure is this will be a car of epic proportion on the street. As I've always said, it's not who you know, it's who knows you. This Z will make sure of that!

GM sales sucks; especially global.
Ford newsletter works very well so far with email.

I'd bet money the sign up is solely used to gauge interest in the model listed. No plans to send you any info. After all, this is the same company that has not come out with a software update or map update for my 2013 MyLink. Clearly they are not tech savy

True. I'm guessing I should start getting unsolicited emails from other companies soon trying to sell me solar panels or gluten free products.
