ZL1 badge omit

Is that ever an option when ordering? Or does it just sound like it should be in my head?

I think it's in your head. The only manufacturer I know of that offers "Badge Delete" is Porsche...

Is it placement or just the notion of having any markings?

Heat gun, fishing line, and some goo gone should take care of it. I removed the Camaro lettering on my 5th gen and replaced the rear bowtie with a color matched one. It's pretty straightforward.

Yeah, just saw them off. Not a big deal to do. I'm completely debadged at this point and find the look much cleaner..

Mercedes also had badge delete options when I last bought over there. It's usually a good idea to make sure the badge in question doesn't use a fastener before you go to work on it. They normally don't but do on the odd occasion.

some badges are best kept, others, not so much.

I'd keep the ZL1 badges in front and back, but maybe remove any side badging.

Just the model identifier. Obviously people in the know will know what it is. The others can keep guessing.

Works every time and on every car:

Pro tip: Do it YOURSELF. Don't have the dealership do it because they just may use a flathead screw driver to pry off the badges....
