I'm also of the mind that it should be fine with the 0w40 like the regular ZL1 unless you're running 10/10ths for lap after lap...however I don't want to jeopardize the awesome track warranty so in the 15w50 went.

Would be nice if they made a Dexos2 certified 15w50 we could leave in for those of us who only run warm weather months.

Seems contradictory to what's been shared in other posts regarding 0w40 and LT4

Enjoy. 5th gen 1LE and my 6th gen ZLE and 109 other makes and models!!

Once I get chance to sit down, i'll see if there's a clean run that worthy of making into video.

No photos this time, but there is video.. few clean runs, this was quickest.

All in.. about 15 runs for the day. Good times! Yes, it was HOT. Pavement - 130*F. 90*F in the shade, if you can find some.

There was another SS 1LE there ( blue, not sure if member here) but had misfortune of getting flat on first time autocrossing and then trouble w inflation kit and goo to seal the hole. Stuff ended up congealing in the valve stem.. insert call and wait for tow truck. Hope that does not discourage them from going to future events.

We had a full complement of 'MERICA at yesterday auto-X - and that was just morning Test & Tune portion.

In the afternoon, we has white SS 1LE and silver turbo 1LE.

25+ events, 200+ runs, supercar 3R tires are still showing very little wear. Better get in track day before they cycle out if they haven't done so already.

I got launch control to work, Just have to figure out if you can half throttle it after you floor it to activate it.. cuz burnouts. Manual is very vague in its operation. What does slip do, such poorly documented features.

Dyno Day organized by Motorsports Northeast at NJ Bent Wheel dyno in Hawthorne, NJ

508 whp / 512 wtq - completely stock, hood closed, sport mode w traction and stability turned off. Still lit up ABS light by 4th or 5th runs. Perhaps there is better way?

Had a gap in autox regiment, so we took trip to drag strip.

Getting off line is even more difficult than autox, clicked off best run of 12.156@ 120.39, with best MPH of 122 n change. Squeezed in 11 runs, some notably terrible where prudent decision was to let off and coast and try again.

Only mods: tires ( 285 PS4S) and MRR 716 wheels.

60' - 2.140
330' - 5.446
660' - 8.078
mph - 96.90
1000' - 10.281
1320' - 12.156
mph - 120.39

On the way home, killed it on mpg, 24.4 !! And these cars are geared kinda stupid for highway, 3K rpms at 85mph..

Racing events cancelled, roads are deserted, meaning I have to be look down at speedo once n while - the only upside ... no traffic! No idiots on their phones (or perhaps much fewer of them) or other activities that lead to wrecks on straight roads on just about daily basis. Enjoying that A LOT!

And on those days you can't remote, that drive is BLISS!

That dirt was NOT me That must have been a trucker that use our lot (and it's narrow entrance) for U-turn, driving all over the landscaping instead of using the rest of the eeemmmmppptty lot.

Another event on PS4S. I'll let you know when Spring gets here and rain stops.
Just found your thread, glad you're using/enjoying the car. Without a doubt, that is the most water on a track I've seen!

I'm not the type to save it for next guy or gal, I am enjoying every minute I can. 21,000 miles n counting. With so many empty roads, you do have to be cautious with the right foot

Even in the snow! Blizzak to rescue. They slide soooo nice on dry and with right amount of right foot.

After a loooong delay, we're backing to gratuitously wasting fuel and tires.

The tires are due for replacement sooon - ideas ?
