The part number 84341929 solid cradle bushing kit should be available soon. I am expecting to receive the first set as soon as they are released.

We will have this car on display at the Scoggin Dickey booth at the NMCA race in Joliet next weekend. I'm sure those guys would have a better idea of what's going on.

On the Scoggin Dickey booth at Joliet. They liked having it so much that it will also be at the NMCA Norwalk event and the LS Fest!

It definitely made more power once tuned. It's hard to give an exact number as we only had time to make so many pulls.

Since our NMCA and NHRA seasons are now over we are getting ready to do a bunch of track testing. Stay tuned!

We really haven't done anything more than drive the car around the pits and down the track. You have made us curious though. As the NHRA and NMCA seasons are now over, we are planning to jump back on this project. I will see if I can get HP Tuners involved in a "filter test".

Thanks for following. I think things are fixing to get interesting!

Side-by-side weight comparison. I was surprised that we actually had a small loss in rotating weight!

One thing that I love about the Chevrolet Performance kits is that they come with all new hardware. (No running to the parts store!)

I am heading out for the PRI Show and leaving this in the more than capable hands of the Maxxdrive crew. More photos when I get back!!

Photobucket has been having some issues lately. We have been getting some jobs finished, but haven't been able to update.

The first job was to install a driveshaft loop from BMR. Anytime you have sticky tires on your car this is required. It was not expensive and installs easily once you drop the exhaust and heat shield. The driveshaft does not need to be removed.

The car finally has the cradle mounts installed!! This is not the easiest job in the world. We used the GM tool to both remove the old and install the new bushings. You could do this at home with enough jack stands and a couple of jacks, but I would highly recommend getting a company like Maxxdrive to do this particular job.

To remove the old bushings we first thinned the lip with a die grinder and then used an air chisel to remove the lip. We pulled the bushings out with the GM tool. No heat required. Jason at Maxxdrive made this look easy!

Using the GM tool to install the top half of the new bushing. This takes a little patience to get started, so don't try to rush this part or the bushing will get jammed at an angle.

No worries... this is why every time you post I've been attaching all the pictures to the posts and not photobucket.

This is an awesome thread and I don't want to see everything lost 5 years from now when your photobucket links change etc. We have too many threads on this forum lost due to photobucket.
