2017 Trans Am

My 2016 2SS left today for Trans Am Depot to be one of the first TA's built off the 6th gen chassis. Stay tuned as they make progress. Some exciting things in the works for the new model. Here is the build thread of my prior TA:

I would not even consider the build if it did not have t-tops, especially given the somewhat claustrophobic interior.

Sweet, looking forward to watching the progress and seeing the finished product. I saw one of these conversions over the summer in East Illinois, and it was sweet! I'm starting on my own T/A project this year, my project is just 47 years older.

Cool.
My '77 T/A was Brentwood Brown. Loved that car. Still have the build sheet and cowl plate.
Keep us updated. Any pics of what the '17 will look like?

You mean the chassis stiffness in a stock 5th vs stock 6th gen?

I miss Pontiac. I mean seriously, what benefit has Buick provided? If Pontiac were still around I would choose the Firebird over the Camaro.

Absolutely not a dig. I'm just 100% a Pontiac fan.
