Almost to the 1500 mile break in...

I am doing an oil change, but wanted to know if I should do anything else. I do plan to track it as often as possible, but it will be mostly street duty. I know the manual says to change the diff fluid after the first track event, and I know trans fluid has to be put to a certain level for competitive events. My question is should I go ahead and have the auto and diff fluids changed now, or wait until after the first event on the diff?

I haven't done any track stuff either and asked the same question at 1500...decided to just change my oil at every 3000 until then. Hitting the track will certainly change my maintenances.

I'm at a little over 2k miles now & oil life says 77% but every 3k just makes me sleep better...it's still super clean on the dip stick.

Do what the car tells you to do. GM would not provide a warranty if their maintenance schedule would harm the engine

I was planning on taking my car to several track events after I passed the break in period. I had the dealer change the oil (I supplied the Valvoline oil outlined in the manual), change the diff fluid, top off the trans fluid and replace the stock brake fluid with high temp fluid (that I supplied). So far 1 full track day and 1 autocross and the car performs perfectly. I regularly check the engine oil level and I haven't noticed any oil consumption or breaking down of the oil (at least by eye and nose).

I considered mine broken in at about 1000 miles. 1500 seems a little excessive to me.

Here is a video, how important these plugs are.
Made a quick video, you can see the plug lift a paper towel, pretty cool.
