Hi guys I recently installed my Rotofab intake i bought off someone. Came with the soundtube delete but he forgot to give me the wirewall plug so I’ve been using the Rotofab box with the stock elbow. Do you guys think I’m giving up any performance ? Also what would be the worse case scenario if I just leave the sound tube hole unplugged ? Does anyone know what else I could use to plug it? Thanks for the feedback!

I saw performances testing of stock elbow vs Rotofab elbow.
I might be willing to test it out in a few months when the colder weather comes back

Don't know a out the elbow. I think gen5diy sells the plate for the firewall.

I’d grab a pair of digital calipers and just purchase a plug for the elbow. I’d give it a .005” interference and call it done.

Maybe purchase a plug like this (I’m not suggesting you purchase this exact item. The link is for reference).

I logged IAT’s with Rotoafab and stock elbow. The difference was minimal.

As for leaving the hole unplugged...it’s after MAF and will cause issues having that size ‘vacuum leak’.
