I just think the OP was just trying to make a comparison about the technology here guys. We all know if the big block had higher compression, decent heads, roller cam, good single plane intake, headers and a nice 850 double pumper it'd be making 600+ horsepower and run 11s so doesn't really matter just a cool video. The big block Chevy My 68 camaro has a 350 in it and runs 12.50s with 3.73s and a stick.... Guys ran 11.50s back then with slightly built 427s, slicks, and steep gears. The fast cars of yesteryear are no way as daily driveable as the fast cars of today.

For the record the Hot Rod Magazine did a dyno pull on the 1970 LS6 with an M22... 288 rwhp... not impressive by todays standards

You don't need to come and get all defensive against the 2-liter guys man obviously your SS is faster calm yourself you paid a lot more should be faster. All they were saying is the new 2.0 Turbo is a fantastic high-technology marvel of an engine that can keep up with yesteryears muscle and they are a hundred percent right on that a two liter pushing a Camaro 0 to 60 and 5.5 seconds is phenomenal
