Maybe I'll get it with the cooler fall air soon...but something tells me that 5.0s was a perfect hookup and I'm not likely to repeat it. I need wider, stickier tires in back...

Since me and ZTS are apparently competing figured I'd post my newest time....weight savings from almost having no gas helped I think

WHEW!!!!

As a suggestion, you can download and publish with the result... would be helpful to know the air density.

.... "a high DA is what kills horsepower and results in high ETs and low trap speeds."

Depending on where your at matters less then you'd think on 0 to 60 then getting a good launch. I had 4.8s 0 to 60s with just bolt-ons no tune in 80 degree mild humidity for New England days. I think it's more in how the car hooks or doesn't hook in some cases.

Yeah, I think I just need some practice and I'll get a lower 0-60. Not sure which RPM's to launch it yet, kind of just do for fun pulls whenever I'm in the mood haha

close to STP except for the humidity which is why ur virtually high up vapor displaces O2.... would be "nice" to get some DA tracking as the fall air moves in... just for the fun facts section.

I've done all mine on the way to or from work in the same two areas at stop lights obviously I need to be at the front so it's always been a situational fun thing for me as well.

Traction is still a huge problem and there is more to get out of her

What are the specs on your wheels and tires? Specifically, what model wheels and what are the wheel widths? Offset? And then what tire?

The A8s will be better in the 0-60 because the torque converter will deliver the optimal power band better suited to the task. Quarter mile levels the playing field a bit. Last log measured 335/350 hp/tq and I'm still range bound in the low 5s.

I don't know how much traction this idea may get but it would be cool to figure out a way to crowd source a drag pack that could be passed around to forum members using the shortest shipping distance circuit. Its one of those things you really only need to use them very rarely for getting that top number, then send them off to the next club member.

anybody ever hear of such a thing or want to tackle ?
ONLY LTG I4 members lol.

wouldn't want to get a set of ground down rims with nothing but melted rubber lips.
