No...but that's only because I dropped it off to the PPF shop

I couldn't resist taking it to the twisties on the way to the shop and I could not believe how well this car performs! It feels like I'm driving a racecar. Love the alcantara steering wheel, shift knob, and Recaros. The exhaust is great with its pops and burbles and the wheels and suspension make the car feel like it's on rails... Car will be ready on Friday and I can't wait to spend the whole weekend in it!

Yup, getting the front bumper, fenders, rocker panels, and behind the rear wheels covered in clear bra (PPF- paint protection film).

In front of the rear wheels.

The front tires throw tons of stuff at the rear quarters right in front of the rear wheels.

I'm highly skeptical myself. Dealers LOVE to list every possible rebate when listing cars. Who knows...last year I actually qualified for all of them and walked away in May 2018 with a 2018 1SS 1LE for $37k OTD.

In the summer of 2016 I was eagerly awaiting details of the 6th-gen 1LE. I was sure that I would be placing an order for one as I had toyed with purchasing a 2013 1LE a few years before. I was ready to move on from my 2004 GTO. I really wanted a 2SS 1LE, but as we all know the 2017 was 1SS only. So, I was a little disappointed, but it was not a deal breaker. As time went on, I started looking at the C7. The price difference was large. Ironically my wife convinced me to get the C7. It was a "now or never" type of situation. I don't buy new vehicles often and I seem to get "tighter" with age. So, I decided to splurge and order a 2017 2LT in Watkins Glen Gray Metallic (looks pretty much exactly like a picture posted earlier in this thread).
After two years, I don't regret my decision. Coming from the GTO (modded), the C7 just feels like it's on rails. Having said that, I honestly don't think I would have regretted going with the 1LE either. I guess what I'm trying to say is out of the two, I don't think there is a wrong decision.

I think I was around 50 OTD :(
But I had to buy it a few days after it was released and not even all dealers had gotten their orders. I didn't have a strong negotiating position

I got more or less the same on my 18 1le, it was 36 and change after rebates and just under 38 out the door. It was in August, didn't know those deals were there since May.

I felt the same coming from an 06 gto to an 18 1le. There was a speed difference, not as noticable as it actually was because the gto was dramatic and felt faster than it was imo, but the chassis and grip was like night and day.

Yes, I forgot to mention that as well. I'm SO glad I got that area covered...

"IDK if we could do 15, but I can definitely drop it by 10."
So 41k for a new 1LT Vette...a 480whp 1LE out preformance a 1LT (non Z51) Vette, right?

I'd leave the Vette stock besides chopping off the muffler.

cannot find anything back to comparison. Only the 1LE vs the grandsport.
The Corvette is a amazing car in every way. I have had several over the years right up till just a few weeks ago. My advise would be not to get the lowest base model. Get the 3LT if you want the Vette. Huge difference in resale value. Although I’m really enjoying my ZLE over the Corvette right now, but it is new.
