What happens is the oil breaks down after the gears wear in. some say 500 miles some say change at the break in 1500 others say at 3000 after the gears fully wear in..just change it . It's so easy. And don't get to worried about all the metal shavings and liquid metal that comes out...all of us have it...you might have to change it 2 or 3 times depending on how bad it is. DEX LS 75w90 friction modifier

Trust me guys it the rear diff...the friction modifier breaks down after your gears break in and the clutch pack is what's making the rubbing sound your hearing..when you turn the modifier in the oil lets the clutch slip so you dont have a full posi locker all the time. When the oil isn't doing it's job ..the clutch pack no longer slips when you turn and starts to act like a real locker. It is very annoying..change it boys

Anyone having a like a single tap or knock sound coming from the engine or dash area only when accelerating from a dead stop. A8 it's very minimal but still annoying .

I got new tires put on the other day and they put the rear wheels on the wrong side. I was showing low pressure and when I checked the tire it was right on. Checked the other side.....aha. I thought to mention to them to make sure they go on the side they came off but the guy seemed to know what he was doing.

but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.

Why would you rotate your tires on the first oil change?

If u have more then 1500 miles on it then change it..or you'll eventually be in the dealer for a new center section and without your car for 2weeks

Yup that's the stuff may have to change it to or three times..I know it sucks. At 26$ a qt . And the rear holds just over a qt so you need 2...I believe it's 1.3qts
